The Trump Administration announced today that the President will visit the site of the Bowling Green Massacre this Friday. Details remain sketchy, but the trip will include a presidential "laying of a wreath" inside the pizzeria basement where the massacre occurred.
Some say Trump's gesture is too little too late: "862 dead, over 1200 injured, and he's just getting around to this?" said long-time resident Ellie McClusky, choking back tears. "What angers me the most is that Trump's aides have no problem repeatedly using this attack to benefit the Administration politically."
Chad Weepher, who lost 23 family members in the massacre, was also critical of Trump: "Our President is a disgrace, which makes me very sad because I voted for him three times."
